Good Boost (Health and Wellbeing)

The Good Boost programme aims to improve people’s lives by getting them moving with gentle water-based and land-based exercise in a fun and social environment.

The sessions are individually tailored using the Good Boost App, designed by musculoskeletal specialists, and are delivered on waterproof tablet computers that are simple to use, allowing participants to progress through their exercises at their own pace.

The Aqua Move classes take place in a swimming pool rather than a hydrotherapy pool, making it more accessible than traditional aqua rehab sessions.

The land classes take place in the fitness studio, and you can set your preferences to exercises in positions that you’re comfortable with.

Please only book a class if you have completed the Good Boost Aqua Move induction.

How it works

The Good Boost programme uses tablet computers and artificial intelligence (AI) to give the participant a personalised workout that is specifically designed to help with their mobility, balance and fitness. The devices have been designed in a user-friendly way and a member of staff will always be on hand for help and support. Each participant has their own tablet to take them through their own personalised workout, tailored to their specific needs and health condition(s).

At the end of the session, the participant will be asked to provide feedback to improve and develop their future workouts. To fully benefit from the sessions, it is important that users are honest when completing the short evaluation form.
