Community Sport - Aberdeen Cycling Opportunities
Community Cycling in Aberdeen
Developing community cycling in Aberdeen City, a Project Activator (funded by Scottish Cycling’s World Championships 2023 Community Cycling Fund) has been embedded in the Community Sport Team.
Working in partnership with existing cycling groups, agencies, and charities within the city, Active Schools, and Adventure Aberdeen, the Project Activator links community groups (focusing on areas ranking highly on the SIMD scale and under-presented groups) to cycling opportunities – facilitating access to cycling where it may not otherwise be possible.
