My goal is to help build confidence on the gym floor and create ripples of positivity into the daily lives of my clients. The gym floor can be an intimidating place, even if you’re not brand new to exercise. I’m Gemma! I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 7 years now through many different career path’s.

I strive in helping my client’s find realistic results without cutting out the things they love! I personally have been that girl anxious about finding her feet in the gym and I’d love to be able to help you find your confidence within the gym environment.

I consider myself a hybrid style gym goer / coach meaning I’m not a lover of just one thing, I enjoy weightlifting, running, & functional style fitness! In my personal development I’ve completed 10k’s, half marathon’s, a full marathon and have recently found a new love of hyrox competing!

I work with the public and racquet athletes. I’ve been qualified as a personal trainer since 2014. I’ve played squash at a regional level since I was young but my focus now is coaching people in personal training and athletes in strength and conditioning.  I’ve worked with a previous Scottish women’s premier league team, club level youth swimmers, University badminton and youth tennis players. I love sport and fitness and it has been an important part of my life. I have played lots of different sports, although, I have mainly played football, but I have most recently taken up running which I am really enjoying. I have 5+ years of experience using the gym and incorporating various methods of training to gain fitness, strength, muscle and improve sporting performance, which has provided me with the knowledge and experience to be able to help people achieve their goals.

In my short time as a personal trainer I have mainly worked with members who are new to the gym and have helped them achieve their goals whether that be weight loss, getting fitter or gaining strength/muscle. I have also helped them more importantly gain confidence within the gym environment, using a variety of equipment and not being fazed to use the gym independently.
