About the Leisure Link Partnership
The Leisure Link Partnership allows members of fitness schemes in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Highland, Moray, Orkney, The Western Isles, Angus, Argyll and Bute, Shetland and the Borders to access gym, public swimming and fitness classes at leisure facilities across all of these regions at no extra cost. |
The Leisure Link Partnership means that when working away from home or on holiday, members from participating areas can use the local facilities as part of their existing home-based membership.

Using the Leisure Link Partnership
Do I need a Leisure Link card?
No, you can use your Sport Aberdeen membership card. Please do not forget your card as you will be unable to gain access without it!
Where can I use my card?
You can use it in all participating areas: Orkney, High Life Highland, Western Isles, Argyll and Bute, Moray/Moray Leisure Centre, ANGUSalive, Live Life Aberdeenshire, Shetland Recreational Trust and LiveBorders.
What’s included?
You can swim, use the gym and join fitness classes when spaces are available. Please note that gym induction fees may apply depending on the venue. Some of the Leisure Link partners are also offering other public sessions as part of the Leisure Link scheme. Please contact the centre you wish to visit for more information.
Summer and other children’s activity programmes are not included in the Leisure Link Partnership.
How much will it cost?
There is no extra charge to gain access under the LeisureLink scheme.
Will I need to complete a gym induction?
When accessing a new facility for the first time, you may be required to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire as well as a gym induction – Please note that induction fees may apply depending on the venue, please contact the centre you wish to visit for more information.
Can I use my card as often as I like in any of the Leisure Link Partnership sites?
Leisure Link is for infrequent use, for example, while visiting or holidaying in one of the partnership areas. If regular usage patterns are identified, then restrictions may be applied to individual users.
Do I need to book in advance?
As policies differ in each region, please contact the centre you wish to visit in advance to check if booking is required.
Do I need a Leisure Link card?
No, you can use your existing card issued by your local leisure centre. Please do not forget your card as you will be unable to gain access without it!

We offer gym inductions across the city. You’ll get a full tour, information on every piece of equipment, and a fitness plan so you know what to do when you next visit us.
