Active Schools are running a leadership course for ex Kingswells pupils interested in possible helping with Kingswells clubs or who may already be volunteering in the community at beavers, rainbows etc.

If you are interested in learning new skills and volunteering in the local community this course is for you!

Course Details:

The course will run over 4 Thursdays and each week will will cover a different module from the Active Schools Leadership Programme.  Week 4 I will get some Kingswells Primary pupils in to work with.

January 9th – Leadership & Communication Module

January 16th – Festivals & Events Module

January 23rd – Planning and Delivery with small Groups Module

January 30th – Working with groups of children from the primary practical

Participants: ex Kingswells pupils

Date: Thursdays January 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th

Time: 3.45pm-5.45pm

Venue: Kingswells Primary (Gym Hall)

You will receive a certificate for each module.  If you are unable to attend one of the Thursdays please email Wendy wcarrick@sportaberdeen.co.uk and let me know which date.
